Nail Art Tutorial – A slight shade on my nails

Need some inspiration? Need a little technical advice? This little tutorial … nail art is for you! All sweetness and delicacy realize a “small cloud” on your nails.

Choose your coating (3 or 4 color gradients)
Soak your makeup sponge triangle. Press the sponge (80%) let moist but not wet.

Apply a single line of the darkest color to the edge of your sponge. Then apply the other gradient.
NOTE: Work quickly so that the varnish does not dry!
Dab the sponge on your nails up and down

Reapply if necessary your sponge on your nails
Goshawks clean nails and cuticles.

Apply one coat of top coat and voila!

Capsules with or without filing?

The capsules without filing

They have the advantage of being practical and easy to install. They represent a huge timesaver.

Hello hello Nailista’s very expensive!

- If you’re a fan of pretty shiny nail art you’ll love this new nail art tutorial spring.
You need a varnish, gold leaf, base and top coat, nail file and of course the ultimate tool the cotton swab!

- 1 – Spend a base (here ESSIE Protein Base Coat) and place your varnish (varnish here ESSIE Turquoise & Caicos)

wait for it to dry but not too must remain damp for a perfect application of gold leaf.
- 2 – Cut your gold leaf into a triangle and using a damp cotton swab apply on the nail.

- 3 – Using a dry Q-tip smooth your gold leaf.
- 4 – File lightly with a smooth file .
- 5 – Apply a top coat (here sec’N Dry Orly)

And it’s over your Nail art is brilliant and especially ultra easy to achieve!

A few tips:

Spring is on its way and what better way to meet it than with a burst of color on your clients’ nails? Send out your spring welcome-wagon with this colorful gel nail design.

Apply gel color as a base. Place lines of a lighter gel color. Using a clean striper brush swirl the colors together. Cure for one minute.

Using a black gel, outline the butterfly. Cure for one minute.

Many times after a client decides to remove their artificial nails they are dismayed at the condition of their natural nail.
This is caused by many factors.
If your nail tech was aggressive with her file or drill use techniques you may have very thin nail plates at the time of removal. Red or pink areas on the nail plate denote thin nail plate and damaged areas.
This damage can also be caused by improper removal of artificial nails. Nail products attach themselves to the layers of the nail plate. If you remove them by force (picking, biting or chipping them off), nail plate is removed with the product causing a damaged nail and nail plate.

Proper removal of artificial nail products involves soaking the product off with a removal product, or growing them off slowly.
If they are properly removed AND you nail tech was not a demon with the file your nails will be a little soft at first but toughen up in the next day or two.
Nail plates are like your skin ( they are, after all, made from the same cells). When you wear shoes all winter your feet are soft and tender, when summer comes and you wear sandals or go barefoot your feet develop thicker skin and calluses. Continue reading »
