You know, since the fall began, I wore this nail polish on three occasions. Three. As a blogger and a collector nail polish, I’m sure you can imagine this kind of thing does not happen very often, wearing nail even several times in a season and all (except that both during the Lent when I had to choose four polishes and cover only those for the duration. BLARGH.), but yes. I wore rustic three occasions. There are several reasons for this: first, rustic is magnificent. It is a beautiful glowy metallic brown / bronze / copper. See how the light hits it at the bottom? It darkens at the edges, and I can totally understand now why people love these “glow from within” policy.

Second, the application is excellent. The brush is short and is quite difficult to work with, but it is not the fault of the nail as much as it is the bottle. Two coats. It dries quickly and you’re ready to go.

Finally (and on a more nostalgic), I wear a lot of bronze in general because it was the color of nail polish first one I owned that was out of the pink / red / black range. I remember very nervous about it (despite some friends rolling their eyes and me say it was beautiful) and kept thinking it was too close to my complexion, it seemed against nature, etc. Then I discovered that the colors very bright bronzey look great with navy . It all goes from there.

I pulled this varnish Whenever I feel the need to remember where this came from the madness. (Also, to match with the Navy.) Does anyone else have a color that they accuse their collection of nails on the colorful…
