Lately, I have been receiving many clients that have visited other Nail Salons to have their Acrylic Nails on. Most of them came to me for help (to remove the False Nails), advice on how to recover from their damage nails or have been refered by a general practitioner to undergo proper treatments for their nails. Some clients were so shocked to find out that the acrylic nail was lifting off their finger, taking the natural nail with it others suffered thinning of their nails or skin problems.

Clients usually ask me why is it so costly to remove the False Nails. My reply is, in order to minimize further damage to your nails we need to be extra careful in treating your nails. Use your SOLAR OIL several times a day.  The oil keeps moisture on the seals and
prevents them from lifting.  It also penetrates thru the acrylic and into your nail bed making the nails stronger with each use.  It will also help the acrylic to cure better.  Solar oil may also be used on other parts of the body where you are severely cracked, chapped, dry and/or bleeding…GOOD STUFF!!!

Never blow on your wet nails.  Your breath is hot.  Heat makes the polish bubble and tacky.  COLD drys.  (example:  you skin is dryer in the winter than it is in the summer.  This is because the cold sucks out all the moisture in your body leaving you severly cracked during the winter months versus the summer months).  Best polish dryer in the world is COLD WATER!

Read the ingredients of your nail polishes.  Watch for formaldehyde and alcohol.  These are extreamly drying and damaging to nails.  Most polishes have this, but just make sure that they are not in the top 4 on the list.  A lot of the professional polishes contain very little if any, so naturally, these are recommended,

Some of the differences can be explained by the low overhead of the discount salons which often operate in cheap store fronts and poorly trained, low wage technicians.
